Little League Stars are Roosters First Graders of the future

Mini League’s Little League Stars are First Grade Roosters in the making. This group of stars was snapped on Sunday morning at Tom Knight Memorial Oval with their
coordinators/coaches Ally Pearson and Peta Woods.

The Cobar Roosters Under 10s took on Narromine in their Round 9 Dubbo & District Junior Rugby League match on Saturday in Narromine.

It was an uncontested game with Jason Thou Cleary, who completely dominated the match, earning the Roosters Coaches Award while Ashton Hyland collected the Sportsmanship Award.

The Roosters Under 11s game against Narromine was also uncontested with tries recorded by Cooper Trudgett (2), Keelan Atuau (2), Josh Gillette and Billy Tiffen.

Billy earned the Coaches Award and Zalyn Manning was named the team’s Players’ Player.

Cobar’s Under 16s had to forfeit their Round 9 match with Dubbo Macquarie in Dubbo while the Roosters Under 12s had a bye this round.

In Sunday’s Mini League games at Tom Knight Memorial Oval, Maggie Lancaster and Beau Medlin earned the Little League Stars awards.

The Under 6s awards went to Ezra Bunting, who recorded his first try this season and to Hunter Patterson, who made a fantastic tag.

In the Under 8s game, Jason Doherty, Colt Evans, Corey Martin and Nixon Shields earned the Coaches Awards.
