St John’s Primary School held their annual swimming carnival at the Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool on Friday with Mackillop (Green) finishing as the winning house.
The 2025 Champions and Runners-up from the carnival were: Junior Girl Champion—Delilah McBride; Junior Boy Champion—Archer Fugar; Junior Girl R/up—Aubree Everingham; Junior Boy R/up—Aisea Fakahua; 11 Years Girl Champion—Sophia Le Lievre; 11 Years Boy Champion—Joshua Gillette; 11 Years Girl R/up—Queena Jiang; 11 Years Boy R/up—Keelan Atuau; Senior Girl Champion—Kasalia Fakahua; Senior Boy Champion—Ryan Jiang; Senior Girl R/up—Izabella Curtis; and Senior Boy R/up—Taj Goonrey.
A school squad of 22 swimmers will be competing at the Cluster Swimming Carnival in Nyngan this Friday against other swimmers from Nyngan, Bourke and Brewarrina.
