Cobar High School’s best in sport were acknowledged at the school’s end of year presentations on Thursday at the school. Montana Grentell collected the Cath Carroll Award for interest and participation in several sports by a girl, Jaxon Burke earned the Paul Cotterill Award for interest in participation in several sports by a boy, Pearl Blackburn received the Bill and Chatie Prisk Memorial Award as the Most Outstanding Sportsperson in 2024 and Sosie Barton won the Grace Mitchell Award for Outstanding Sportsmanship by a Girl.
