Cobar’s 2024 Dancing Under The Stars fundraiser proved to be a big hit with the sold out crowd at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club on Saturday night. Not only did the six couples competing for the coveted mirror ball prize put on a great night of entertainment, they also helped to raise $17,000 for the Drummond Park war memorial Stage 2 works. Neyland and John de Bruin, (who executed a beautiful waltz before they rocked out) finished as the winners ahead of Greg McKervey and Amie Hill, whose tango scored highly with the judges for its technical expertise. Finishing third overall were the Dallas Cowgirls, Chris Deighton and Seigrid Peters, who had the crowd on their feet and the judges lost for words.
