Yabbies finish as runners-up at Four Ways Carnival

The Cobar Yabbies Senior Men’s Swimming Club took a team of 15 swimmers, and were joined by Tippy Drey from Wellington to take on the Forbes, Nelson Bay and Gosford men’s swimming clubs.

The Cobar Yabbies finished as runners-up to hosts Forbes at the Four Ways Swimming Carnival on Sunday.

Forbes won the day with 13 points with Cobar second on 12 points.

Kyle Roberts and Todd Fugar were the best individual performers for the Yabbies.

Roberts claimed a win in the Ian Settree 100 metre Handicap with 0.29 seconds off his nominated time and Fugar was second on 0.87 seconds.

Fugar also placed second in the 30 metres Handicapped event with 0.50 seconds off his time…Full report in this week’s edition out now!
