Bill Fugar cleans up at this season’s Yabbies presentations

The Cobar Yabbies Senior Men’s Swimming Club held their end of season presentations at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club on Friday night. Stephen Clark was named the 2023/2024 season’s Most Improved swimmer, Bill Fugar won the 30m, 50m and 100m shields as well as the overall club point score champion title, Todd Fugar collected the Ian Settree Memorial One Night Stand award and Kyle Roberts was the Brace Relay
winner.

Bill Fugar collected the Curly Solomon Shield as the Cobar Yabbies Senior Men’s Swimming Club’s 2023/2024 Overall Club Point Score champion at the club’s end of season presentations on Friday night at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club.

Fugar cleaned up this season and also won the 30m Cobar Bowling & Golf Club Shield, the 50m Russell Harland Memorial Shield and the 100m Phil Knuckey Memorial Shield.

Not letting him have it all his way, Todd Fugar claimed the Ian Settree Memorial One Night Stand trophy.

Todd had the best combined time in one night of the season with a total of just 0.29 seconds off his nominated time in all three events.

The Brace Relay prize went to Kyle Roberts and the Tom Knight Memorial – Most Improved Swimmer trophy was earned by Stephen Clark (who recorded 2nd and 3rd places at the 2024 National AIF Carnival)…Full report in this week’s edition out now!
