It was pretty much all one way traffic in both of the Senior Mixed Netball competition games played at Ward Oval on Friday night.

Divas pulled in three substitute players to help them to a big 66-24 win over Pink Galahs.

Pink Galahs too were short on players and also enlisted two subs for the match.

By the end of the first quarter, Divas had a 20 point advantage and then had extended their lead to be 24 points the difference at half time.

Divas continued to dominate at both ends of the court and went on to finish with a 42 point win.

Divas’ fill-ins Rori Urquhart and Nikki Gilbert shared in the game’s Best & Fairest points along with Divas’ player, Lauren Urquhart.

Cairo Haronga (Pink Galahs) and Summer Patterson (Divas) earned the game’s Sportsmanship points.

Rori Urquhart and Nikki Gilbert backed up to play their second game for the night when their Smash Ups side took on JKM Dynamic Fitness in the late game.

It was also the second match for team mates Neve Carter and Brianna Watson (who helped out the Pink Galahs in the early game) and Mollie McAndrew.

Smash Ups’ shooters were near unstoppable and had run out to a 30-4 lead at half time before going on to finish with a 64-16 win.

Smash Ups’ Taylah Good and Bridgette Negfeldt shared in the umpire’s B&F points with JKM Dynamic Fitness’ Grace Burge.

Negfeldt and Burge also collected their team’s Sportsmanship awards in the match.
