Year 6 students from Cobar Public School (CPS) and St John’s School spent two days last week learning about Landcare including invasive native scrub management, erosion control and measures to prevent erosion on farms, soil types, animal handling and pest management. They also learnt about native plants and introduced species of weeds and plants. The students thoroughly enjoyed the activities and practical learning experiences provided by the Buckwaroon Landcare group.
