The Camel muster (pictured above apart from Tony Jacklin) for their Western Plains Rugby Union Round 10 game at Gulargambone on Saturday. Once again they were “light on” for players. Tyson Brilley, Kevin ‘Rusty’ Mitchell and Peter Payne were not passed fit to have a run. Lachie Mitchell’s soccer playing cousin, Ollie Wilson, put on the boots to give them 12 able bodied men for the game, which was once again another heroic display by the Camels. The match finished with a 37-26 win for the hosts but Cobar were very much in the match until the final minute when Gular scored a late try. The Camels’ Best & Fairest three points went to Lachie Mitchell, two points were shared by Jayden Harvey and Mitch Dunne and one point went to Darius Naera. ▪ Photo contributed
