The Geandale Rural Fire Service Brigade is the latest local fire brigade to take delivery of a new fire fighting appliance, a Cat 7 fire tanker. The Geandale Brigade covers the area south of Cobar on the Kidman Way and south west along the Lerida Road. The appliance will be housed close to the Cobar Airport and will be a valuable asset during fire seasons.
