Closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras have been installed around the town over the past week including this mobile, solar-powered camera at the Newey recreation area. The new cameras have been installed to protect a number of Council’s community assets including the Cobar Library, the Council Chambers/Drummond Park and the Council depot. The $350,000 project was funded under Phase One of the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure program.
