St John’s School recognised National Sorry Day last Tuesday with special activities in their classrooms. Students watched a special powerpoint presentation, held prayers and completed craft activities to share their thoughts and feelings. They created visual pieces to display and to help them to make a connection between their classroom learning about the histories, knowledges and experiences of our First Nations people and National Sorry Day. St John’s School held their annual swimming carnival last Wednesday at the Cobar Memorial Swimming Pool with Team McAuley (Gold) the winning house.
