Concrete Cowboys are now the outright leaders of the Open Mixed Touch competition after their 28-0 thrashing of Guns N Hoses on Thursday night.
Up until last week, Concrete Cowboys were one of three unbeaten teams in the competition along with MTE Mako’s and Phat Athletes.
MTE Mako’s dropped back a notch after they recorded a 3-all draw against The Blossoms and Phat Athletes recorded their first loss in their Round 4 match against Fast Fades.
Concrete Cowboys’ female players scored 24 points of their total tally of 28 in their match against Guns N Hoses.
Bridgette Negfeldt and Rori Urquhart crossed three times each, Niamh Urquhart and Taylah Good scored doubles and Neve Carter and Molly Broughton also crossed for a try each.

Their other four points came from two tries to Zac Broughton and one each to Ashley Davies and Chris Crotty.
