20 years of StormCo fun

StormCo is celebrating 20 years of school holiday visits to Cobar this week, again holding free Kids Club sessions at Cobar Public School. Project Leader Jonathon Christian, who has been coming to Cobar with the group for seven years, said the team includes current and former students from Avondale School along with local volunteers. The highlight of this year’s visit was the Pinnacle Challenge (pictured above) which saw participants climb a moving ladder, walk a tightrope, hang upside down, climb the tower and jump freestyle from the high tower. Other activities include singing, story telling, craft, face painting and a balloon workshop with around 70 local children attending Monday’s session.
