Vi McLaughlin’s Memorial Golf Day was a close affair

The ladies golf annual Vi McLaughlin Memorial Day Canadian on Saturday was a close affair with Janet Place and Sue Phillips winning the day with 74 6/8 nett.

A fraction behind were Fay Hardwick and Wen Zhang (75 4/8), Narelle Kriz and Jannine Wilkin (76 2/8) and Sally Bannister and Geraldine Francisco with 78 2/8 nett.

Closest to the flag on the 8th hole were Fay Hardwick, Susan Goonrey and Glenda Peebles while on the 11th Narelle Kriz, Robynne Morton and Daphne Cross won Nearest the Pin prizes…Full report in this week’s edition out now!
