Tulloh takes out the Billy Manns Memorial Trophy

The annual Billy Manns Memorial Shoot was contested on Sunday at the Cobar Clay Target Club in beautiful shooting conditions with Dick Tulloh collecting the Billy Manns trophy.

There were a number of contenders for the 30 Target Handicap event prize including Damian Wray, Jason Mitchell and James Manns but it was Tulloh who eventually won with a perfect score of 37/37 after a shoot-off with Tracey Boon from Bourke.

The monthly shoot attracted 12 shooters for a three event program.

Tulloh started the day off on the right foot winning the first event, the 20 Target Double Barrel, in A Grade with a score of 19/20.

James Manns was the AA Grade winner, also with 19/20.

There were ties in B Grade and C Grade with John Martin and Tracey Boon finishing first in B Grade with 18/20 and the tie in C Grade was between Luke Scales and Todd Polack, also with scores of 18/20.

Tulloh won the 25 Target Single Barrel event in A Grade with a score of 23/25; Manns also had 23/25 to win AA Grade; Jason Mitchell was the B Grade winner (23/25): and C Grade-was won by Damian Wray 22/25.

The Club’s next shoot in December will be their Christmas shoot and last event for 2019.
