State politicians check in on Cobar

Cobar Shire Council hosted a visit from NSW State Treasurer Dominic Perrottet (far left) and the NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro (far right) on Saturday with the pair making funding announcements of $2million to kick start work on piping the Albert Priest Channel (which supplies our water) and $1.43million of Joint Organisation funding to update displays at the Great Cobar Heritage Centre. The pair are pictured with Mayor Lilliane Brady, Council’s tourism officer Demi Smith and museum curator Kay Stingemore.
