New and familiar faces join CHS

Cobar High School has two new faces and also two familiar ones joining the staff this
year. At back are new teachers Chris Johnson and John Clarke and at front are local
residents, Elsa Mitchell and Amy Thompson, who have joined the school’s Student
Learning and Support team. Chris will be teaching four days a week as a generalist
classroom teacher, while John, who has IT skills, is the new permanent TAS teacher
and will be teaching STEM classes. Elsa and Amy will be working with teachers in the
