Mr Personality to perform at the Gig on the Grass

Terry Leonard, or ‘Mr Personality’ as he’s known around the traps, is part of the entertainment line up for next week’s Gig on the Grass concert.

The concert is part of this year’s Grey Mardi Gras festival and features four headline acts playing music from the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s and more.

Terry hails from Wellington, NSW, and has been performing as a tribute singer around Australia for over 35 years.

He has a warmth, charm and personality that endears him to his fans, who acknowledge him as one of the most popular tribute acts in Australia.

Anyone seeing Terry’s show for the first time becomes an instant fan.

Terry has played in clubs and hotels all over Australia and is a regular performer at the Parkes Elvis Festival where he’s been a finalist in the ‘Ultimate Elvis Competition’ numerous times, always making the top 10.

Terry’s variety shows feature his tributes to an extensive range of the great artists including Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Engelbert Humperdinck, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Wayne Newton, Dion, Bobby Darin, Sam Cooke, Solomon Burke and Del Shannon.

Terry also pays homage to a vast range of country superstars such as Alan Jackson, George Strait, Josh Turner, Brooks & Dunn and The Mavericks.
