Year 12 student Mitchell Chaplain was named Cobar High School’s 2021 Dux of the Year collecting the school’s overall award for academic achievement. Mitchell also earned the University of Newcastle Year 12 Award for Academic Excellence; the Ampol Award for Best All Rounder in the Senior School and the Roy Butler MP Award. Mitchell is pictured with principal Shane Carter at the award presentation at the school on Friday.
