Mine helps rural kids

csa-donation
Cobar Mobile Children’s Service staff Bridgette Brookman and Tammy McKay accepted a donation of $1,000 from Glencore CSA Mine’s Brien Obray last week. The money will go towards the cost of fuel for the organisation, which travels all around the Cobar Shire area delivering educational playground sessions to children on remote properties. The service, which has been running since 1982 and is partly State Government funded, relies heavily on donations to continue to deliver the service to children aged 0-12 years covering an area around 44,000km².
