Men’s health in focus

A Rotary Clubs initiative, the Men’s Health Education Rural Van (MHERV) visited Cobar last week to give free health checks to local men. The van was parked at Drummond Park on Friday and also visited the Lilliane Brady Village Fete on Saturday. Bob Clark, pictured above with registered nurse Nicole Page, was one of 36 local men who took advantage of the service, which was also assisted by Abbi Josephson from Community Health. Gordon Hill from Cobar Rotary Club reported that MHERV has committed to visiting 58 places before the end of the financial year.
