shooter Brittany Edwards in Saturday’s B Grade netball major semi final.

The first of the Cobar Netball Association semi finals were contested on Saturday at Ward Oval with JKM Dynamic Fitness (A Grade) and Sharpe Shooters (B Grade) both securing grand final berths with impressive wins.

JKM Dynamic Fitness got off to a good start in their A Grade major semi final match with Pumpettes, and with strong shooting by Lauren Urquhart, Kym Sutton and Briana Coffey, they kept their score ticking over to finish as 46-34 winners.

JKM was also well served by Alex Hernando in defence and Abby Carswell, who had a great game in the centre court.

In the B Grade major semi final game, Brushstop had a big 14-3 lead at the end of the first quarter against Sharpe Shooters.

The Shooters put in a fantastic effort in the second quarter to close the margin to just four points and they continued to fight on but Brushstop held them off to finish as narrow winners, 33-30.

In the A Grade minor semi final ENDivas eliminated Sparks from the competition after they won 38-33 while in B Grade Golfie Mystics are through to this week’s final after they beat Wildcats 47-17.
