Peter ‘Skeet’ Goonrey, Randall Hall and Allan Gardoll
A memorial lawn bowls day held in honour of Sandra Zazoniuk at the Cobar Bowling & Golf Club on Sunday attracted four rinks full to capacity.
With 24 participants it was a good turnout considering the freezing conditions. (There were also a few bowlers who are also golfers missing as they were involved in the club championships.)
The winner of the day was the team of Peter ‘Skeet’ Goonrey, Randall Hall and Allan Gardoll with David ‘Ooze’ Knight, John ’Shark’ Daly and Darryl ‘Dasha’ Jermyn the runners-up.
In third place were Stewart Simpson, Barb Barklimore and Marlene Wynd who were also the knock-out winners.
Bian Smith was the winner of the two spider events while David Knight, Degen Brown and Doug Hudson won the lucky spot prizes…full report in this weeks edition out now!
