It’s been almost seven years since Cobar lady golfer Di McLeod lost her battle to cancer and 26 golfers were on hand to celebrate her life in Saturday’s Memorial Day mixed Four-Ball-Best-Ball Stableford.

Ann Dunn and Greg Clark were declared winners of the day after a countback from Narelle and Colin ‘Telly’ Green when both teams had 44 points each.

In third place were Glenda Peebles and Scott Mayne on 42 points while Narelle Kriz and Bian Smith (41) claimed 4th position after a three-way countback.

Nearest the Pin winners on the 8th hole were Wen Zhang and Peter ‘China’ Brien while on the 15th, Karen Warren was closest to the flag (no men players managed to make it on to the green)…Full report in this weeks’ edition out now!
