Golfie recognises its best sportsmen and women

The Cobar Bowling & Golf Club held their annual Sportsman’s Dinner on Friday night to recognise the achievements of the club’s various sporting groups. Pictured are men’s golf prize winners Peter Brien (Nearest the Pin comp winner), Matt Hunter (C Grade Champion) and Paul Kershaw (C Grade Foursomes Champion); lady golfers Pam Sikora (Mixed Foursomes), Chrissy Gilligan (A Grade Champion, Matchplay winner and Sandgreens Champion) and Joy Josephson (C Grade Champion); the men’s bowls Fours Champions David and Alan Knight, Aaron Finn and Greg Read. The Knights and Read were also the Triples Champions.
Champion lady bowlers Helen Boddy (Fours team member), Sandra Zazoniuk (Fours, Triples and Pairs), Margaret Good (Fours, Triples, Pairs and Singles), Deslie Howlett (Fours) and Barbara Barklimore (Triples).
