Golfers donate to kids

The proceeds of this year’s Police Charity Golf Day, an annual event that is part of the Festival of the Miner’s Ghost, were handed out on Monday to six local children’s groups. Cobar Little A’s, CareWest, Cobar Public School’s Multi-Categorical Class, Kubby House Child Care Centre, Cobar Mobile Children’s Services and Cobar  Preschool all received $1,000 each.
