Cobar asks R U OK?

The Cobar & Districts Rugby Union Club held an R U OK? awareness event for mental health at their home game on Saturday at Ailsa Fitzsimmons Memorial Oval. Pictured are Kirsty Smith and Jody McCabe from the Western NSW Primary Health Network who gave players and spectators some tips and tools on how to start an R U OK? conversation and also handed out merchandise and themed cupcakes. R U OK? is a national initiative that aims to remind everyone that every day is the day to ask “Are you ok?’ and support those struggling with life’s ups and downs. “It’s not weak to speak up,” Jody, a suicide prevention care coordinator said. “Your life matters.”
