
The Blossoms will meet Makos in tomorrow night’s A Grade Mixed Open Touch grand final.
The two top sides in the competition recorded wins in their elimination semi final matches last week which earned them grand final berths.
Blossoms, who finished at the top of the table, had the easier of the two matches when they took on 4th placed Phat Athletes.
Blossoms showed too much pace to out-point Phat Athletes 18-6.
Ella Oborn top scored for the match and contributed 10 points to the Blossoms’ tally with her five try haul. (Female tries are worth double.)
Team mates Jaxon Burke (2), Kai Taylor, Maddison Jeffery, Rowdy Barton and Sosie Barton also contributed to Blossoms’ total.
In reply, Georgia Boland, Josh Francisco, Mitch Shields and Zoë Egan scored tries for Phat Athletes.
Makos eliminated last season’s winners, Concrete Cowboys in their game last week.
It was a close match with Makos having a 3-1 advantage at half time and, with both sides only allowing one try in each in the second half, Makos finished with a narrow 4-2 victory.
