The Cobar Shire Council Youth Council provided a great afternoon and night of entertainment on Friday at Drummond Park to
celebrate the start of the school holidays. The event was free thanks to funding from the NSW Government’s Office of Regional Youth’s
2021/2022 Autumn Holiday Break program. The free rides, jumping castle, face painting, barbecue, fairy floss, popcorn and an
outdoor movie were well received with a big turn out of local families enjoying the event. Council’s youth workers Natalie Prisk and
Stephen Gillette have a few more activities planned for the holidays including a beauty workshop, a visit to Mt Grenfell and a skate
workshop. Cobar Shire Library is also running school holiday craft activities.
