Excavation on the new adventure playground at Cobar’s Drummond Park began on Monday. Cobar Shire Council Parks & Gardens supervisor Paul Sullivan said temporary fencing has been erected while local contractors Country Mile Construction begin levelling the ground to get it ready to lay the park’s softfall. Installation of the equipment is expected to be completed by March/April.
