Cobar High School’s student leaders for 2019 inducted

Cobar High School recently inducted their new school captains Sandie Mitchell and Zoe Carter as the school’s leaders for the year ahead.

At the school’s Term 2 Awards Ceremony last Tuesday at the school, four students received Principal’s Awards.

Year 7 student Elly-May Hand received the Principal’s Award for Visual Arts, Music, PDHPE and Mathematics.

Imogen Budd (Year 8) earned her award for achievements in Geography, Music, PDHPE and STEM.

Year 10 student Marley Jones received the Principal’s Award for History, English, PDHPE, Science and Industrial Technology Timber 200 Hour Course.

Year 11 student Kelly Archer collected the Principal’s Award for achievements in English Advanced, Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Outstanding Achievement Certificates in various subject were also awarded to Jaidyn Connolly and Natteisha Gibson (Year 7); Zachary Broughton, Zachary Haines, Lexie Trainor and Heidi Trudgett (Year 8); Lana Bishop and Amily Jones (Year 9); Cody Lehmann and Madasan Taylor (Year 10); and Shara Haagsma and Lauren Urquhart (Year 12).
