Season closes for junior netballers

The Cobar Junior Netball 2015 season came to a close on Friday afternoon with players participating in their final games which was followed by presentations and an exhibition match between parents and players.

Junior coordinator Renee Matheson said it had been a very good year with 72 girls registered for the Net, Set, Go competition (ages 5-10 years) and 44 juniors (ages 11-17 years).

All of the Net, Set, Go players received participation medals while four major trophies were handed out in the junior division.

This year’s Most Improved Junior was Jordan Warren and the Most Improved Senior was Alice Potter.

Lauren Urquhart was named the Player with the Most Potential and Anja Kok collected the Most Consistent award.
