Play gets underway at Early Learning Centre

The wait is over with the Cobar Early Learning Centre opening its doors to families on Monday. Centre coordinator Peta Rufo said the staff and children are thrilled with their big new space and said the flow between the indoor and outdoor spaces works really well. She said the transition into the new centre has gone very smoothly for the children as they had been able to visit the centre on excursions during various stages of the building process. The centre currently has places for 20 preschool age children, 15 toddlers and will be soon welcoming 12 babies into their infants room. The centre has 10 full time and three part time staff members. Prior to its opening this week, parents and carers were able to visit the centre on Open Days last week to have a look around. Peta is
