Students mark final day of school

Cobar High School’s Class of 2016 Year 12 students were farewelled by the school body with a presentation ceremony at the school on Friday acknowledging their academic and sporting achievements.

Outstanding Academic Achievements were recorded by Bryan Mitchell in Chemistry, Mathematics Extension 1 and 2, Physics and Software Design and Development.

High Achievement awards went to: Niamh Urquhart (English Advanced, Ancient History and Business Studies); Stephanie Cartner (Mathematics General, Sport, Lifestyle & Recreation); Zara Ralph (Community & Family Studies, PDPHE); Joana Awuku (Hospitality); Josh Burley (Construction); Robert Good (Metal & Engineering); Billie Hall (Work Studies); Annette Hudson (English Studies); Gabbi Lennon (Visual Arts); Kody Martin (Mathematics General), Kaitlyn Raffaele (English Standard); Blake Toomey (Biology); and Tyler Whittaker-Goodwin (Maths).

Robert Good and Joana Awuku received Sporting Awards for achievements in Athletics.
