Great turn out of mums for CDMA AGM

The Cobar and Districts Mother’s Association (CDMA) held their annual general meeting on Monday with a big group of eager mums in attendance.

A new committee was formed for the upcoming year with Brooke Hague taking on the role of president. The vice president position was taken by Ashlee Frost; Elsa Mitchell is the new secretary and Rach Hadkins will continue the role as treasurer.

The general committee members are Kylie Bullion, Jenni Lynch, Hiroko Price, Vee Vian Higgins, Cassandra Curtis, Renee Leedham, Tatum Brennan, Tammi Aitken, Cassie Siviour and Jessica Pigram.

At the meeting the CDMA committee acknowledged the support from various businesses in town over the last year, including CSA, Peak Gold Mines, Orana Mutual and Abby’s Lunch Run.

The committee plans to continue running their Monday and Thursday playgroups, with other events and fundraisers also on the agenda for this year.
