Cobar High School held their Term 2 awards ceremony last Friday with five students being awarded the Principal’s Award.

The half school year Principal’s Awards went to Jordan Sipendi, Year 8, for Music, English, French and Science.

Abby Carswell, who is in Year 9, received the Principal’s Award for English, Commerce, PDHPE and Physical Activity and Sports Studies.

Montana Tatchell, also in Year 9, received the same award for Australian Geography, Science, Mathematics and Music.

In Year 11, Padraic McElhone was awarded the Principal’s Award for English Studies, Work Studies and Industrial Technology Timber.

A Principal’s Award also went to Jessica Nicholson in Year 11 for Mathematics, Legal Studies, Business Studies and Biology.

Certificates of Outstanding Achievements in various subjects went to Tarnia McCormack (Year 7), Kayley Phipps (Year 8), Georgina Whiteman (Year 10), Nicholas Buckman, Chloe Coleman, Patrick Hallcroft and Stephanie Mitchell in Year 11 and Jennifer Awuku, Billie Hall, Brooke Hartman, Gabriella Lennon and Niamh Urquhart in Year 12.
